Outdoor Kitchen and Bar – Potomac, MD

Resort Vibes, Right at Home

The heart of the backyard is a stunning custom-built swimming pool. Its curved lines and crystal-clear water invite you in, while the stone waterfall adds a natural focal point and the calming sound of moving water. A shallow tanning ledge with in-pool lounge chairs makes it easy to cool off in comfort—whether you’re soaking up the sun or keeping an eye on the kids.

Bordering the pool is a spacious paver patio, offering plenty of room to move, gather, and enjoy the space. It’s the type of patio that doesn’t just support the landscape—it completes it.

Outdoor Kitchen, Pavilion & Bar: Built for Entertaining

One of the most impressive features of this project is the fully equipped outdoor kitchen, complete with built-in appliances and plenty of prep space. It’s connected seamlessly to a new deck and covered pavilion, creating multiple zones for hanging out, dining, and lounging.

Beneath the pavilion, we installed a beautifully crafted, double-arched stone fireplace—perfect for cooler evenings or simply setting the mood. The adjacent bar area is a true social hub, ready for happy hours, family parties, or an impromptu nightcap. Durable, comfortable furniture completes the look and invites you to stay awhile.

Front Yard Curb Appeal That Matches the Back

This transformation didn’t stop at the backyard. We also redesigned the front of the property with a welcoming new walkway and thoughtfully layered plantings. By incorporating a mix of textures and colors, we created a landscape that offers visual interest in every season—and makes a strong first impression.

A Lifestyle-Driven Design

Everything in this project was designed with real life in mind. The flow between spaces, the materials used, even the placement of furniture and plantings—it’s all built to support the way this family actually lives. Whether it’s a quiet morning coffee by the pool, dinner with friends under the pavilion, or a fall evening by the fire, this landscape delivers comfort, beauty, and purpose.
