The contemporary architecture of this home provided an opportunity to create a contemporary landscape with strong lines and forms. The landscaping, stone walls and flagstone walkways all combine to reinforce the home’s architecture.

The flagstone walkway creates an impressive vista to walk along to get to the front doors. A stone wall cuts horizontally across the lawn to bring the homes stonework out into the landscape. Ornamental grasses, Crepe Myrtles and Hydrangeas compliment the stone walls and walkways perfectly. An espaliered Japanese Maple set against a custom wooden trellis presents a unique focal point. A large, sweeping bed of iris’ is a spectacle to see in the spring.  At night, landscape lighting highlights the landscape and walls perfectly.
