Project Profile: A Chic Patio Design In Spring Valley

A Patio Design Made For Entertaining

IMG 1268The words chic and landscape rarely go together, except when describing this patio project.

Strong, bold lines, contrasting paver colors, and stainless outdoor kitchen fixtures combine to create a one of a kind hip patio for entertaining.

This was a challenging project that took us out of our comfort zone.

For the seat walls, we used greyed nickel colored wall blocks from the company Techno-Bloc Graphix. We did this because the material offers clean lines, texture and a sharp appearance. The seat walls and the five columns that visually anchor the patio both used a contrasting black onyx shade.

IMG 1267The patio is constructed using the Smooth Blu paver in greyed nickel color from Techno-Bloc, accented by a border row in onyx black color. To say this patio looks sharp would be an understatement.

In addition to this stunning combination of patio, seat walls, and columns, our team also installed an outdoor kitchen complete with a stainless steel gas grill and refrigerator. The kitchen surround is also made of the same wall blocks and topped with a 3” thick black onyx countertop. This outdoor kitchen is all set for entertaining.

Besides creating this amazing outdoor living and entertaining space, our team installed a complicated drainage system, stepstone paths, sod and beautiful garden plantings.

At Allentuck Landscaping Co., we believe the outside of a school should reflect that same sense of excitement. That’s exactly why, for the seventh year in a row, we launched our Gardens For Grade School Grants program. Patio Privacy Ideas That Actually Work

Tired of feeling like you’re on display every time you step outside? You’re not alone. Most suburban backyards weren’t exactly designed with privacy in mind.
